Floating Point Data types:

Floating point numbers are numbers with a decimal point. Floating point data type can take large floating point numbers with a small degree of precision (Precision is simply the number of decimal places to which a number can be calculated with accuracy. If a number can be calculated to three decimal places, it is said to have three significant digits.)

Memory size   : 4 bytes

Minimal range : IE-38 to IE+38 with six digit of precision
